MyTree.TV has a New WebPage!

newWEBpage

A new, fresh look & a new navigation!

Dear followers,

MyTree.TV can proudly announce that the new web-Page is online now. It would be treetastic if you would follow us. Because unfortunately with the transfer of a blog it is not possible to transfer the WordPress-Followers.

The picture on the top of the new WebPage contains many important aspects of the philosophy of MyTree and you can click on it. This navigation will be improved with the next update in the near future. I hope you like the new webpage and if you have any comments you can let me know. Ah, by the way the music on the intro-Navigation-Page is composed by Helge van Dyk.Yes, exactely that’s the producer of “Jewel”. It’s Dechen-Shak-Dagsay’s wonderful album with Tibetan music.

It’s growing!

I am also very happy to have found two more TREE-Magazine-Contributors:

Elaine Harte from Ireland and Shruti from India. Welcome under MyTree! :-)

They will both receive a treetastic welcome-package with the new Postcards soon.

KEEP it green and put MyTree on Your Screen!

Hello – June in Siberia – Mark Berube and The Patriotic Few

Alo Alo,

We’re excited to present to you our new video for the song Above the Ground It was inspired by the work of Scottish artist Andy Goldsworthy. Maybe you’ve heard of his installation when he brought giant snow balls into downtown London, England back in June, 2000. He creates the temporary in a way that you won’t easily forget. Since the song Above the Ground touches on the subject of how we are temporary in all our faults and glory, so it seemed like a natural fit. We hope you enjoy it.

Mirjam Wanner goes into the deep forest…

unterholz

Let the sunshine in!

Soldier 1:
We starve-look
At one another
Short of breath
Walking proudly in our winter coats
Wearing smells from laboratories
Facing a dying nation
Of moving paper fantasy
Listening for the new told lies
With supreme visions of lonely tunes

Want to help someone? Shut up and listen!

Ernesto Sirolli got his start doing aid work in Africa in the 70’s — and quickly realised how ineffective it was.

Why you should listen to him:

Ernesto Sirolli is a noted authority in the field of sustainable economic development and is the Founder of the Sirolli Institute, an international non-profit organization that teaches community leaders how to establish and maintain Enterprise Facilitation projects in their community. The Institute is now training communities in the USA, Canada, Australia, England and Scotland.

In 1985, he pioneered in Esperance, a small rural community in Western Australia, a unique economic development approach based on harnessing the passion, determination, intelligence, and resourcefulness of the local people. The striking results of “The Esperance Experience” have prompted more than 250 communities around the world to adopt responsive, person-centered approaches to local economic development similar to the Enterprise Facilitation® model pioneered in Esperance.
