Hello Future!

Every day when I wake up I can see the solution of all the energy-problems up there in the sky! And every day I ask myself why aren’t we using the power of the sun in a more sophisticated way? To make this Video-Clip I used my old Camcorder and switched to the mirror mode. Symmetry is very important and we shall learn much more from the nature! In the video you can see how it looks like when you drive from Zürich to Winterthur on a sunny day. The public transport in Switzerland works pretty well and yet there is the big issue of the energy. The day when we can catch the power of the sun to move trains and even to fly around will be the day when I say good bye nuclear power, hello future!

In the original video-clip the story is about a sick lady in a hospital and in fact this sick lady is our mother earth! But who will be the angel who can devend us from all evil? Who?

Isn’t there a little eco-angel in all of us?

Moby ‘The Day’ Behind The Scenes

Moby sings “The Day” against US budget cuts

Multi-award winning recording artist and activist Moby took to the web this week to show his support for a campaign organized by MoveOn that asks for those angered with Republican budget proposals to fast as a form of protest. Though it won’t be officially released until next month, Moby provided MoveOn with his new single “The Day” to serve as a backdrop to a video the organization produced to raise awareness of its recent campaign. Moby was one of around 30,000 people who fasted in protest of the Republican-backed budget.

Isn’t every day earth day?

Supporters from all across the country joined hip hop legend DJ Biz Markie to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day by recording a clean energy remix of his classic song,Just a Friend — and some of our staff couldn’t resist either!

With our planet facing a generational challenge and our leaders falling far short in their response to the urgency of the climate crisis, its easy to succumb to doom and gloom. But each of us came to this movement because of the passion we find in working together to build a sustainable future for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren.

Fusion

© 05.06.2007 14:12:30- 14:31:23 by Stefan{at}MyTree.CH

The only thing i wanted was a fusion!
And what did I get? Just a con-fusion!
Is real Love really just an illusion?
Are we meant to find, loose and move on?

Hey, please Come-on!
This can not be the solution!
Aren’t we meant to find, stay and walk together?
Well, I think this sounds much better!

But there is something we’ve got to understand
however, if we want to find the key
we need to spend a huge amount of energy
and if the only thing in your hand is sand

there is missing the moisture for the plant
which can only grow when there is enough
Love pure LOVE and nothing but LOVE
the energy who takes you both off and you’ll never land

You’ll probably land somewhere in the never-land
but is there someone who can understand
that fusion really works! It works in the sun!
Hello you stupid jerks! Come-on!

Fusion works and not only in the sun
souls can also melt together
and for those who are always on the run:
Fun is not just glue nor a little feather

that makes you giggle from time to time
and if you read this and you still have no clue
you need to know that everything will be fine
when you’re in love with someone who is laughing with you…

If you don’t want to laugh, why don’t you give it a try with a smile ;-)

If the whole world would smile together we would not need the militaries!

Solar Wind bridge concept

Why just use solar power or wind power when you can use both? Designed by Francesco Colarossi, Giovanna Saracino and Luisa Saracino as part of an Italian design contest to re-imagine a decommissioned bridge (for which it placed second), this so-called Solar Wind concept would have solar cells embedded in the roadway (an idea that’s already catching on) and an array of 26 wind turbines underneath, which the designers say could produce enough energy combined to power 15,000 homes. To make the design greener still, the designers have even included a “green promenade” that would run alongside the road, which they suggest could be used to grow fruits and vegetables that’d then be sold to folks driving by. Incidentally, while it’s less focused on technology, the design that placed first in the contest (a so-called “vertical village”) is pretty impressive in its own right — check it out after the break.
